All it took was…

One man and
a rusty bakkie…

It all started with one man, one rusty bakkie, and a stubborn trailer that had more squeaks than a haunted house. Armed with nothing but frozen wors, a cooler box, and enough enthusiasm to scare a vegetarian, our founder hit the streets — knocking on doors and winning hearts (and stomachs) one chop at a time. He braved flat tyres, dodgy GPS directions, and one particularly vicious Chihuahua in Brakpan, all in the name of meat. Back then, he was the driver, the salesman, the admin guy, and occasionally, the mechanic. But he had a dream — to bring top-quality meat to every braai-loving South African, even if it meant reversing a trailer uphill in a thunderstorm.

Fast forward three years, and that humble hustle has grown into a fleet of  roaring delivery trucks, bringing biltong, boerewors, and brisket to towns far and wide — from the big cities to dorpies where the cows still outnumber the people. Our once-solo meat crusader now leads a passionate team, delivering the goods with the same heart, humour, and hunger that started it all. We may have upgraded the wheels, but we’ve never lost that original fire (or the cooler box – it’s now in our staff room as a trophy). From trailer to triumph — that’s how we roll, chop!
